Alpharetta City Center Nearing Completion!
Things are heating up for Alpharetta as the completion of the brand new City Center nears. The 85-million dollar expansion will boast 105,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 168 condos, 3 acres of green space and gardens, and much more.
The expansion covers 26 acres of land in the heart of Alpharetta and already included the City Hall, Library, Park, and Town Green. In addition to the retail and restaurant space, the City Center will also have 36,000 square feet of office space for new businesses moving to the area (this means more jobs, people)!

- Builders and planners of the development have been adamant about the complex hosting only local businesses, or in other words you will not be finding any large national businesses there. This live-work-play complex is similar to those around Ponce City Market, Avalon, and Virginia Highland.
"The Gardens" area will host an array of local restaurants of many different styles. If you walk across Market Street you will enter the retail area which was renamed "The District" and will also have local, small businesses and shops. The 28 buildings that make up the areas within the City Center were designed in different architectural styles to compliment each other and the surrounding area to make the center as scenic as possible. With 98% of the space already committed, only two small spaces remain. The Restaurants will begin opening in June and continue opening into next year with the retail shops following close behind with their grand openings beginning in July.
